Immediate Plump for Helping Fight Your MidDay Dry Skin Slump

I have gone through so many bouts of skin issues — and most of those issues usually involve my skin getting dried out at some point, at some stage.

Interestingly enough most — if not all —  of my skin issues stem from something internally going on in my body, primarily my gut. Almost like a mean joke from God — well more like real life/real time accountability — it shows up on my face, and there’s no hiding it.

So, what to do; what to do…

Well, that depends on how sever it is and how it’s rearing it’s ugly head.

I have shared before how I have used the Peeling Gel and the Peel Off Mask during times of over skin reactions and how much it helps and is so gentle that even when my skin is inflamed I can gently and effectively address it — praise God!

So how about minor reactions — aka dry skin — that rear it’s ugly head?

There are preemptive and in the moment strategies:

For a light touch, mid-day with make-up on: Rose Mist by Atomy. Gives such a nice feel of a nice touch of hydration and to give a light dewy look. So nice and SUPER light mist. A make-up artist I know uses this as a make-up setting spray, by the way!

As I have said before, who doesn’t love multi-functionality?! I know I do.

How about for skin that is showing extreme drying out, causing the appearance of wrinkles and unattractive creasing in my make-up? Rose mist is helpful BUT when you are dealing with extreme circumstances you gotta take extreme measures. What I used that is tried and tested is Atomy’s Absolute Serum Spray. It is so impressive that I have demonstrated for someone before in real time — because I have seen how effective it is!

Usually the drying up shows the most around my eyes. I demonstrated by spraying around on elf my eyes, but not the other. What makes this such a fun and amazing product to demonstrate is, that starts acting pretty much immediately. It takes very little time before you can see the difference. What’s more awesome than that!

Preemptively, you can use both the Rose Mist and the Serum Spray under your make-up.

Post Make-up application, is a little more tricky.

Rose Mist is so fine and light that there really isn’t much to worry about using this product on top of your make-up.

Absolute Serum Spray though you have to use wisdom and discretion! It is an oil based spray — I know that sounds scary and like something you shouldn’t put on your face, but it is a just right mix and balance and high quality oil and that is something that our skin and our body needs to function properly,

So what does that mean?

It means, that when using onto of make-up, hold it back a good distance before spraying, so not to cause a big blotch of oil to come upon your face and melt your make-up.

Think “fine, quick misting” with distance. And I try to avoid getting too close to my mascara or where my eye lashes may touch on my skin around them. Sometimes I will cover my eye lashes with my hands as a type of shield, such as when you are painting… which actually gives me an idea. I would recommended creating for yourself something that would resemble something like that! That would be a fail proof way to go.

One thing I have learned, as well is that you don’t want to use too much. I would highly encourage you to keep trying this out and committing to a “one and done” approach.

And you can have confidence in knowing that the plumping and hydration effect is an immediate one, to combat mid-day dry skin slump!
