    The Legendary “Fame” That Broke the Barrier To be famous is to be set apart from the rest—lifted above the ordinary, the mediocre, the ones who simply drift through life doing little more than surviving. To be infamous, on the other hand, is usually to be remembered for something striking, but with a darker twist.
